Paper Memories

Hello there, reader! Today feels like a sharing day so I thought this would be a good time to share with you an adventure that I recently went on with a couple of friends to explore a local,  abandoned building.  Our main reason for visiting the hall was  for photography purposes, but we also visited out of curiosity; I've had an interest in abandoned buildings for some time but have limited my interest to reading online articles and blog posts, which meant that this was my chance to at last experience the  eerie atmosphere that comes with abandoned buildings and explore one for myself. The first room we entered was sinister, to say the least. This was mostly due to the fact that all of the windows -bar one- had been barricaded with  thick sheets of wood, meaning that our only sources of  light were the shattered windows from which we entered and the weak flicker of our hand-held torches. Hello there reader, so, we all have our sacred place, whether it be in a treehouse, a bedroom, or even in one's own mind, I'm sure that we all have our beloved spot  that is ours and ours alone. My special place is probably completely different from  yours, but I've decided to share with you a space that has been my sanctuary for the past two years, and continues to be a place of deep thought and peace for me.
