Thoughts on America.
"The Thing About America" A couple of years ago I took a family trip around the West Coast of America, and so here I am, finally articulating my thoughts on this not-so-long-established nation. The first thing I want to mention is the history, the USA may appear as a well-established, historical country, but trust me, that couldn't be further from the truth. Europeans didn't even start developing the West until around 1840 which, when compared to, say, British history, isn't a long time ago at all. See, the truth is, the real history of America began centuries before the cowboys, the mormons, even before the Europeans. It began with the Native Americans. And that is what I find so fascinating about this Nation, it is founded on the belief of right, and establishment, it has a very ' we're here to stay' sort of vibe, yet at the same time so did the original inhabitants who, as you probably know, were forced to abandon their homes, an
